Join us for a dining room experience that challenges old thinking patterns and creates a new narrative for People Seeking Sanctuary in the UK.

This project is currently being developed as part of Derby CAN Producing Hubs, and will be available for touring on its own or alongside the Meet Your Neighbour Installation.

Meet Your Neighbour Installation

This new installation from Maison Foo sees artists and designers from around the world fuse together audio storytelling, visual art and new technologies to bring the tales and passions of neighbours currently seeking sanctuary in the UK to life.

This unique installation promises human connection and fosters a sense of community. The work is flexible, and can be downsized for small spaces, or upsized to create big cultural impact.

Meet Your Neighbour will be touring in 2023, and we want to hear from venues, festivals, museums, galleries, schools and supermarkets. Please get in touch if you are interested in hosting.

Meet Your Neighbour Parties

Meet Your Neighbour Parties are the talk of the town. Our aim: bring together communities, share culture, food and dancing! Alongside our creative associates, we can create parties to any scale and for whatever the cause. Our parties have been particularly successful in supporting venues to open their doors to people seeking sanctuary and finding ways to improve access for those that don’t traditionally attend arts spaces. You can also book a party alongside our Installation (above!)

Persian Tea Corner

Led by our Creative Associate, Nasrin Samavi, the Persian Tea Corner centres around community, ritual and communication. On a backdrop of beautiful Iranian rugs, throws and cushions, Nasrin creates a traditional Persian tea using her favourite Samovar. The experience brings calm and connection, and is the perfect addition to a festival, conference or cultural exchange. You can book a Persian Tea Corner alongside our Meet Your Neighbour Party & Installation.

The Persian Tea Corner can be scaled up or down to fit your space. We will need approx. 2 hours each side of the booking to set up and pack down. You can book alongside the Meet Your Neighbour Installation and/or Party
